Events are an important part of what we do, from our fundraisers like Gala Night, Bike for Books, Adopt a Pumpkin, annual gigantic Book Sale, Thursday Night Program Series in the winter, to monthly book discussion groups, workshops, and children’s story times in the summer.
The North Conway Library is privately-funded, free and open to the public, which means we look and act like a public library but receive no public funding (no money from the town, state, or federal government). We must raise 100% of our operating funds every year.
After 14 years at the library, we are saying farewell to Martha Pedersen. She has been the most wonderful assistant, always available, always helpful, always a smile on her face. We will miss her! Please drop in and sign the memory book for her which we keep at the circulation desk for just a little while longer, before she goes off to enjoy her retirement with her husband Ralph and her three cats.
We love our volunteers! Any amount of time is appreciated. Opportunities available!
