May 26: Story Time & Activities: Flowers

Date: 05/26/18 10:00 am

Looking for a new way to share the natural world with your child? The North Conway Library will be presenting a monthly, hour-long story time program through the spring for children of all ages, focused on learning about nature through crafts, activities and books.

Alice Puccio, education coordinator at AMC in Pinkham Notch, is leading the program, which will be held on Saturday mornings from 10 to 11 a.m. in the library’s children’s room.

Alice has worked in education for the past eight years, primarily with nonprofits that connect kids and families to the outdoors.

The programs take place on the last Saturday of each month and are free and open for residents & visitors. They are most appropriate for children ages 4 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult. Call (603) 356-2961 for more information.

May 26: “Flowers:” children will make crepe paper flowers and plant seeds they can take home with them, as well as being read the book “Sidewalk Flowers” by Jon Amo Lawson.
