Oct. 12: Book Discussion: 1 Book 1 Valley!

Date: 10/12/17 10:30 am

The Library's Book Group meets on the SECOND Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the library from October to June with a hiatus during the busy summer months from July-Sept.

On Oct. 12th, we will discuss this year's One Book One Valley pick: One-in-a-Million Boy by Monica Wood.

The book is the beautifully wriiten story about the friendship of a rather unique 11-year old boy and 104-year old Ona Vitkus. It is a gem of a story, rather quiet, tender, heart-warming and charming. It is beautifully written and contains lot of material for a lively book discussion.

The group reads mostly fiction but a few times a year we discuss a nonfiction book.

This is an open book discussion group. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you are a library member!
