Films can be streamed from any computer, TV, mobile device or platform by downloading the Acorn TV app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku.
You have to register for an account first, using your library card number and "pin" (your phone number), and creating a user name and your own password. Then you sign in using that user name and password whenever you want to use Acorn TV. Check here for detailed instructions.
The way Acorn works is that you need to get a 7-day “access pass” which is good for…. Yes, 7 days! During those 7 days, you can watch unlimited movies. When the 7 days are over and you want to watch another Acorn show, you need to get another 7-day pass. The library will get billed for those passes but for you, they are FREE!
Thanks to the NH Humanities Council for the generous grant money that enables us to offer Acorn for one year!
It works just like Acorn TV- you need to register, then sign in, and then get a 7-day access pass when you want to use it.
You have a total of four passes per month per library card.
